WORLD5 to release new single 'Maybe There's a Way' June 18
WORLD5 will release their newest single, titled, “Maybe There's a Way,” to widespread critical and fan acclaim June 18, 2013.
The track is the second single from their upcoming LP release, due out in fall of 2013. “Maybe There's a Way” comes hot on the heels of their popular single track, “Man of Action,” which debuted in March of this year and immediately shot to the National Top 100 Airplay Chart.
“Maybe There's a Way” is unlike “Man of Action” in terms of tempo and groove, being a mellower romantic ballad in the tradition of artists like Phil Collins, Sting, and Yes, whereas “Man of Action” recalls the clean-channel, poppy orchestra rock of 80s favorite, Joe Jackson (“Is She Really Going Out With Him”). Where “Man of Action” stood up and shouted, “Maybe There's a Way” leans in and croons. It is a heartfelt, touching song with hints of country around its edges and rock 'n' roll in its great, big heart.
As usual, the flawless, earnest singing of Grammy Award winner Pat Hunt claims much of the song's spotlight. The soaring lead guitar work of Steffen Goeres is gloriously clarion and prominent. Fellow Grammy winner Randy Miller's bass is precise and flowing, in perfect harmony with drummer Raimund Breitfeld's subtle power, the keys lay way back and create a curtain of delicate sound against which everything else stands out.
In other words, WORLD5 has recorded another spotless, almost painfully perfect single. “Maybe There's a Way” manages to be sad and strong at the same time, powerful and genteel, a work of great artistry with rock and roll as a canvas and classic rock sensibilities for a paint palette. Viewed as a pairing with “Man of Action,” “Maybe There's a Way” continues to prove that music fans of the world have much to look forward to with WORLD5's forthcoming full-length album. With any luck, they won't have to wait long.
“Maybe There's a Way” by WORLD5 is available online worldwide 18 June 2013.

WORLD5 Releases Single "Man Of Action"
The pop rock ensemble known as World5 (often stylized as WORLD5) have released their newest single, titled, “Man of Action.” The song is the first published single from their forthcoming 2013 LP release, due out in autumn. The song is an extremely catchy, jubilant track with expert instrumentation and brilliant songwriting in terms of both composition and lyrical flair. It is perhaps most important for fans of World5 because it represents the public introduction of recent additions to the band, Grammy-Award winners Pat Hunt (lead vocals) and Randy Miller (bass guitar), both of whom are instant mainstays of “Man of Action's” overall sound and style.
This overarching sound has at its core the songwriting principles of legends such as Genesis, Yes, and The Beatles, whom World5 names as main influences, but the immediate sonic experience of “Man of Action” shares more in common with other great musicians. One hears upon pressing play a rock 'n' roll piano that brings to mind Elton John's “Bennie and the Jets,” or Billy Joel's “Big Shot.” Riding these youthfully insistent keys are the lead vocals of World5 newcomer, Pat Hunt. Hunt's vocals powerfully drive and command the song without dominating it. The timbre and slick classiness of his flawless delivery is perhaps best compared to the buoyant and masculine singing of Huey Lewis.
Complimenting these booming, shining features is Randy Miller's bass work, which lies somewhere between the way-out-front, slap style of late disco-era bassists and the quietly confident work of Gail Ann Dorsey (longtime David Bowie session player). Also integral to the success of World5's sound are a brass section that hasn't been utilized in this gorgeous capacity since The Joe Jackson Band, a funky, beautifully bright-sounding rhythm guitar not unlike the guitar groove made famous by The Jackson 5, and lead guitaring that has the unpretentious, yet spotlight-drawing character of Neil Young.
It needs little explaining that World5's first single from their up-and-coming 2013 LP is promising amazing things, as well as demonstrating that these large promises are, without a doubt, certain to be fulfilled.
“Man of Action” by World5 is available online worldwide 12 March 2013.

ADULT CONTEMPORARY BAND WORLD5 TO BE DISTRIBUTED IN CHINA
Approved for distribution by the Chinese authorities, the band has also reached distribution agreements with Japan and other far east countries.
SAN LUIS REY, CA: Having recently seen chart positions in the top 5 on a variety of internet based radio outlets, the band WORLD5, which has their debut album titled "Global Experience" being officially released in the United States on May 1st, now has the approval of the Chinese government to have their music distributed in their country, which also includes Hong Kong and Taiwan. The official release date will be determined at a later time after the official release in the west.
"The Chinese government keeps tight control of the music industry through ownership of their broadcast media, the screening of lyrics for commercial music and direct control of performing sites" explains Raimund Breitfeld, songwriter and drummer of World5. "All lyrics, the bio and everything about the band were translated into Chinese and screened. Most of the songs heard on Chinese radio these days are uplifting ballads and gentle love songs. The music of WORLD5 is a blend of adult contemporary pop rock and ballads; the lyrics are definitely never offensive."
In addition, the band has also agreed to terms for distribution in Japan which will be made available soon after the May 1st release date. Breitfeld notices a vast difference in how music is treated in the two countries. "There is a long tradition for western bands in Japan and many have become big in Japan. They are far ahead with music downloads on mobile devices, while China discovers new music visually through music videos and other media. The Chinese listen to music extremely with their hearts, while listeners from the west are also more technically minded" Breitfeld explains.
The Chinese and Hong Kong music industry can draw a potential of audience of 1.4 billion from citizens in China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia and Chinese communities in large cities around the world. Japan has a buying population of 126.5 million, making it the 11th most populous nation. Over 140 million mobile singles were sold in Japan in 2008, an increase of 26 per cent on the prior year (RIAJ) and is currently the World's second largest music market for downloads."We love the way people listen to music in Far East, and with 'Global Experience' we will certainly be accepted by most of the listeners" Bretifeld states.

Focusing on groundbreaking concept, Miller and pop rock group World 5 use ingenuity as an ally in creating new album.
HOUSTON;TX For a band whose members live in separate countries, one might find it impossible to create, produce, and engineer an album without all five members ever setting foot in the same room together before. However that is the concept behind the 5-piece group World 5 which consists of members from California, Germany, Sweden, and New Zealand.
"I'm excited to be working on the World 5 project because it's such a fascinating way to work" states Miller during a mixing session for their upcoming single titled "You And I." "I think it's a groundbreaking new concept in how a band can create music as well as putting an album together even though everyone is scattered around the globe. Before the Internet and the development of new file sharing and communication technologies this band could not have existed, nor could I be mixing the album thousands of miles from where they live."
The band members from World 5 have known and have performed with each other over the years in various projects, however various reasons have sent its members to reside in different parts of the world. As the members found a way to stay in touch through such modern technologies as Skype and Gmail they were able to plan and discuss concepts in real time. The idea of creating an album came about when they realized that even though they live in different places they still had the necessary band chemistry that allows them to take it to the next level from that of an experimental project.
"The whole band is very happy" states band leader and drummer Raimund Breitfeld about the production and having Miller handling the studio work. "I was particularly excited because I had worked with Randy on a previous project and he did such a fantastic job. It seemed like it would be a great fit for Randy to produce World 5 and it turned out to be true."
Having been nominated 16 additional times for the Grammys, Miller (Burt Bacharach, Johnny Nash, Laura C) who focuses on music that might change the world agrees with Breitfeld. "The guys are great to work with and I think we all hear the music the same way. We share a lot of laughs and we just get each other. Maybe it's the sharing in the creation of art or maybe it's just the plain fact that music really does bring people together no matter where you are."
"It has been a great experience. states Breitfeld. "Randy gets what we are trying to do. It is amazing when you consider that we track individually in separate locations that when we get a mix from him how he brings out the best part of our performances. It's as though we had all been together through the recording process."
The upcoming self titled album is slated for a March 2012 release and will be distributed through Island Def Jam Recordings Digital Distribution.
The band is managed by Black Mountain Productions Inc. ,Henderson NV
